The EUDR for small companies
If your company was micro or small on 31 December 2024, the EUDR applies to you from 30 June 2027, six months after larger companies. The evidence it asks for is the same.
Who counts as small
A company is small if it stays within two of these three limits, and micro within two of the lower ones, on its own figures, not its group's:
| Employees | Net turnover | Balance sheet total | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Micro | 10 | €900,000 | €450,000 |
| Small | 50 | €10 million | €5 million |
- What counts is your company's size on 31 December 2024. A company set up after that date applies the Regulation from 30 December 2026, whatever its size.
- Some member states set the small limits higher, at €15 million turnover and €7.5 million balance sheet.
What changes for you
- The date: 30 June 2027.
- If you produce the commodity yourself in a low-risk country, a one-time simplified declaration instead of statements.
- If you buy from a company in the EU that placed the goods on the market, records of your suppliers and customers, and no statement of your own.
What does not
- Every plot behind your goods needs its geolocation and the evidence that it is deforestation-free.
- Your statement is filed before the goods are placed on the market, and your records are kept for five years.
Built for a small team
- Nothing to install, and no project to roll out.
- Ask your suppliers for their plots from the app, in their language, with reminders.
- The questions for your suppliers, sent for you, and their answers kept with each plot.
- Your statement filed to TRACES from the app.
- Priced by the plot: you pay for the plots you have.
- Your adviser or customs broker can join your account.
